Recreation is re-creation. Go on vacation. Here are a couple of excellent ways to dream ahead:

Tent-Life, Suggestively Illustrated by Views From all Parts of America, by Sir Edwin Arnold, K.C.I.E., in which the famous poet considers the pleasures of tenting across India, accompanied by hundreds of staff and retainers, as illustrated by photographs of various kinds of small groups of Americans in their three-person tents. Unintentional hilarity; lots of fun, anyway.

Extravagant Economy: You must go on vacation for your health. See recreation, supra. This is a paean to the karma of self-renewal, and that is something we all need all the time. Why am I typing this stuff here, when I could be on vacation? Goodbye, see you later!
